Arrival and departure
All accommodation tariffs are to be paid in advance and are not refundable after check-in.
Sites and accommodation will be available for occupation as soon as practicable after 2pm. While we endeavour to book your preferred cabin or site this unfortunately cannot be guaranteed, especially during busy periods. Prior arrangements must be made for arrivals after 6pm. If reception is closed when you would like to check out there is a letterbox located outside reception for boom gate and cabin key returns.
New arrivals and guests
Guest arrivals and visitors must report at the office before entry to the park. Guests are responsible for their visitor’s behaviour. Visitor’s vehicles are to be left in the car park provided adjacent to reception. Please ensure your visitors have vacated the park by 10pm.
Office hours are 8am to 6pm daily. If the office is temporarily closed please press the ‘call’ button located to the left on the office door (under the light) and a member of our Customer Service Team will attend to your enquiry.
100MB complimentary Wi-Fi is provided per day. Additional vouchers are available from our Customer Service Team. Simply open your internet browser, choose ‘Net4’ network and follow the instructions to register and log in.
Children are defined as aged 3-15 years. Infants under 3 years are free of charge. The Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park reserves the right to request proof of age. Children under the age of seven years must be accompanied and supervised by an adult when visiting the showers and toilets.
In the interest of safety, the speed limit throughout the park is WALKING PACE only, not exceeding 10kph
Noise and behaviour
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm. Music and TV’s should not be audible to adjoining sites and parents are responsible for ensuring children do not disturb other park guests. Please note that all visitors are asked to vacate the park by 10pm. Management reserves the right to immediately evict any guest, visitor or member of the public for any anti-social behaviour including, but not limited to: possession or use of illegal drugs, wilful damage to property, theft, physical or verbal abuse of staff, other guests or the public. In the event of an eviction all money held will be forfeited and charges will apply for damage caused. The registered guest will not be welcome to make future reservations at the Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park.
All registered guests shall be liable for any loss or damage to park property, that of other guests or the appliances, furniture, keys/passes, fixtures and fittings in the accommodation (fair wear and tear excluded). A fee will be charged if excessive cleaning is required after departure.
Please remember to secure your vehicle and remove any valuables and lock your cabin or caravan when not occupied; Parking is at your own risk and the Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal items.
All buildings at the Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park are non-smoking. It is prohibited to smoke inside or within 5 metres of any public building. Smoking inside your cabin or any of our buildings will incur a minimum fine of $100.
Linen is provided for the main bed in our Executive and Ensuite cabins. Additional linen can be hired for a small fee per bed. Please speak to our Customer Reservations Team in relation to your needs.
Amenities blocks, laundries & baby bathroom
Amenities blocks: Located in the upper and lower sections of the Park.
Laundries: Located in the upper and lower amenities blocks.
Baby bathroom: Located in the upper amenities block. Please request a key from our Customer Service Staff
We strive to present our park in the best possible manner at all times and your assistance in notifying us of any maintenance issue will assist in maintaining our high standard.
Deposits and payments
A deposit equivalent to the first nights accommodation is required for payment by credit card at the time of reservation. Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided. The balance of payment is due on arrival to check in. Payment is accepted by cash, Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS. Personal cheques will be accepted only if received 14 days prior to arrival.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for group bookings.
Minimum booking periods and high season
Minimum stay of four nights applies over Easter while a three night minimum stay applies on long weekends and during special events. High season includes Easter, long weekends and December to January
Changes and cancellations
All cancellations outside 14 days prior to arrival, an administration fee of $30.00 on powered sites and $50.00 on Park Cabins will apply and the balance of the deposit will be refunded. Cabins are to be left Clean & Tidy (cleaning charge will apply). Any damage and extras will be charged. *We reserve the right to charge your credit card * If cancelled within 2-14 days of arrival, one nights tariff will be charged. * If cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival the total amount will be charged. * No Refunds for failure to appear for accommodation, or early departures.
Reservations cancelled, or altered at the commencement of or during occupation, do not qualify for any refund and the monies paid will be forfeited by the guest. Non-arrivals or guests who fail to notify of cancellations will forfeit the monies paid.
BBQ facilities are provided in both the upper and lower sections of the park for your convenience. Please ensure they are left in a clean and tidy manner for other guests.
Dogs are welcome in the lower section at the Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park, at the Manager’s discretion.
Dog agreement policy: Please complete a Big4 dog policy agreement on arrival.
Responsibility: Dog owners must take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests when on the property. Owners are responsible to clean up after their pet. Please ensure your dog does not bark or yap and they must not be left unattended in the park. As the dog owner (whether you have expressly agreed to or not), you assume liability regarding your dog being on our premises and indemnify us against all or any damages, all or any claims or other suites that may arise as a result of your dog being anywhere in our holiday park.
Restrictions: Dogs are not permitted in any of the cabin accommodation, amenity blocks or communal areas and must be kept on a lead at all times. Any breaches of the above may see eviction from the park and forfeiture of all monies paid.
We permit a maximum of one vehicle / or one vehicle and one trailer per site / cabin. If additional parking space is required please discuss this with our Customer Service Team. Vehicles must be parked on your site unless directed by the Customer Reservations Team. All guests must report to the office and park their vehicles in the visitor car park area.
Bikes and boards
Please ensure bike helmets are worn at all times and children are supervised. Bikes are not permitted to be ridden after dark.
Fires and open flames
Open fires are only permitted in a contained fire ring on unpowered sites. Please contact our Customer Service Team during office hours for a fire ring. Please note that open fires are not permitted in or around the cabins. Fire restrictions may apply; no fires or open flames are permitted during Total Fire Bans.
We live in an area that relies heavily on the health of the Murray River for our economy, recreational activities and tourism. We play our part in the river’s conservation by minimising our park water use, including the installation of water sensitive shower heads and featuring native and drought resistant plantings. To assist us in our water conservation efforts it would be appreciated that you minimise showers to 7 minutes and do not wash cars, boats or vans within the park. Loxton Fast ‘n East Car Wash is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is located on Bookpurnong Tce, Loxton and offers an auto bay, 2 manual bays, vacuum and fragrance bays and a car detailing service.
